摘要：The extragradient (EG) method was introduced in 1976 by G. L. Korpelevich to overcome difficulties arising in gradient methods for finding saddle points of a (smooth enough) convex-concave objective function in minimax problems. EG methods have recently been received a lot of attention both theoretically and algorithmically. In this talk, we shall report some recent results in the EG studies together its several applications in some applied areas.

徐洪坤院士：杭州电子科技大学特聘教授。主要研究领域：非线性泛函分析、最优化理论和算法、巴拿赫空间几何理论，非线性映像迭代方法，反问题及其正则化方法，金融数学等。2004年荣获南非数学学会杰出研究奖和教育部自然科学二等奖（与徐宗本、蒋耀林共同获得）；2005年当选南非科学院院士；2012年当选发展中世界科学院（最初称第三世界科学院，现更名为世界科学院）院士；2014年入选浙江省“千人计划”；2014-2018入选汤森路透/科睿唯安全球高被引学者，2019入选爱思唯尔中国高被引学者。已发表论文250余篇。现（曾）任近10种SCI期刊编委和FPTASE共同主编。20余次国际学术会议特邀（invited/keynote/plenary）报告。
